DBC's Mayo Clinic West Expansion project earned an Award of Merit in the Prefabrication/Panelization category at the 2023 EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) Architectural Awards in Dallas, TX.
The award celebrates distinctive projects that use exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) known for their performance, sustainability, durability, and aesthetics.
As the project was designed with EIFS to match the existing main building, our team installed the X-series prefabricated panels instead of field-applied EIFS. The facade comprises 1,500 panels, each measuring 24 by 15 feet. This decision and product helped reduce cost and installation time and ensure pedestrian safety and scaffolding clearance.
