Mayo Clinic selected Digital Building Components as the external panel manufacturer for Scottsdale, Arizona's latest hospital expansion. The scope of work called for 158,000 sq. ft. of exterior panel systems that need to be installed with superior quality while meeting the project deadlines.

The widely-known and renowned

Mayo Clinic has two Arizona campuses – in Scottsdale and Phoenix. U.S. News rated the healthcare facility as the No. 1 hospital in Arizona and No. 15 in U.S. News Best Hospitals Honor Roll (nationwide).

Digital Building Components’ X-Series exterior panels gave Mayo Clinic a wide range of options for a factory-built system. Our exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) is the project’s perfect solution, especially with the ability to add punched windows, window walls, and other glass options. In addition, the X-Series installation schedules are up to five times faster than conventional methods meaning the healthcare project could open sooner – which is time-sensitive with the increased patient numbers since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After finalizing detailed Mayo Clinic mockups, Digital Building Components immediately sent the job into production. Each new panel was manufactured according to our unique process of building digitally and directly from the model with automated machines, ensuring precise, high-quality results.

Panel delivery and installation began last August for the Scottsdale addition. Each delivery is mindfully scheduled to arrive on the job site by request from project leaders, preventing unnecessary product overflow and potential hazards.

Our advanced solutions are not only available to the healthcare industry but for all building types, including office buildings, data centers, student and senior housing, multi-family developments, and more.
